Final Product
To develop a versatile Content Management System (CMS) capable of facilitating the creation of numerous individual websites, all the while enabling content sharing across multiple platforms. The MVP included a fully designed website for one of the company’s radio stations, WayFM
Our client had websites already, and they had been established for years, so, the first step for this project was naturally a content audit and a heuristic study of the current main website.
Content Audit of WayFM was done following a couple of approaches, we identified various types of content: blog posts, podcasts and events from various stations and shows.
Heuristic report brought to light usability issues, as well as load times were being affected by years of content coming up on an endless scroll.
Our lead developer researched and recommended we use Directus to create the CMS, which would allow our client to manage multiple websites and add content to more than one at a time.
With the assistance of our UX Designer, Shraddah, we started out with some pretty solid wireframes to help meet the client's needs.
Based on the content audit, we created a new content map:
I then started adding visuals tothe wireframes, inspired by the client's branding.
