My name is Eloisa and I'm a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator. I grew up moving a lot, raised by two adventurers that decided it would be fun to leave everything behind in Puerto Rico, and move every year from island to island was just the perfect way to raise a family. After graduating high school, I enrolled in an Arts Atelier in Venezuela, where I became a fashion design apprentice for a year and a half before I enrolled in college to study Tourism.
After moving to the US, I took a bit of a break to raise my girls, during that time, I became really familiar with the Adobe products and taught myself how to make illustrations, turning them into repeats, and have them printed onto textiles. Working with colors, creating mood boards and researching customer-base became an obsession for me, it actually turned into a full-time job for a few years flying solo. In 2011, I landed a freelance job with an international art rep, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had!
In 2016 I decided that I wanted to pursue a full-time position as a Visual Designer, but recognized that to do this, I also needed to polish some web-coding skills, so I quit my job, and enrolled in an immersive course for UI design, where I learned HTML, CSS, JQuery research and design thinking. Now, I get to do what I love.
I live in the colorful town of Fuquay Varina, NC, with my husband, my two girls and my parents. I love animals and have tons of pets: 7 dogs, 11 hens, 1 rooster, 2 bunnies and 1 guinea pig.
